Bruce was born in China. At the young age of 21 years old, Bruce ventured to the “land of the rising sun” (or Nippon) Osaka, Japan as an international student majoring in economics. Bruce’s amazing talents in Judo also allowed him to represent Osaka University and enter into competitions on the international stage.
After four years of study in Japan, Bruce mastered the Japanese language fluently, which is by no means an easy feat. Bruce then realised that the worldwide international language of English in literacy and communication was more vital for his successes in life.
As a result, Bruce commenced his second journey to South Africa with his uncle’s help. While in South Africa Bruce became a volunteer of a local welfare organization who assisted the needy or poor people who were dealing with the hardships of life. In his spare time, Bruce was also coaching Judo at the local children’s Club.
In 2008, Bruce made the bold move to land of opportunity, Australia. It was in the State of Victoria where Bruce successfully completed his diploma of Community Welfare and in 2009-2010, Bruce won the State Judo championship of Victoria.
It was about this time in Victoria that Bruce decided or knew that his future was or needed to be in Australia. Bruce found that the beauty of nature here, the freedom and the richness of life in Australia impressed him so much so, his decision to spend the rest of his life in Australia, in the future, was made.
When Bruce went back to China, he was recruited by the Emperium Financial Group HK as their business development director to sell and manage life insurance policies in mainland China. In 2017, he had a great opportunity to meet Anthony Boutros, the founder and principal of Future Home Realty in Australia. The pair connected immediately and Anthony offered Bruce the opportunity to be the Company’s overseas BDM in charge of China’s operations of recruitment, training and sales of Australian property. Other responsibilities within Bruce’s portfolio includes assisting Chinese clients in the process of Australian education & immigration as part of Future Home Realty’s property services.
Bruce is highly experienced in insurance, sales, education and customer service. He strives to better understand the cultural differences between Australia and China. Its this bridge of trust between the two countries which is what makes Bruce a valuable asset to Future Home Realty. Bruce really cares and works hard to help everyday people in China to change their lives for the better.
Apart from his hobby of martial arts, Bruce really enjoys cooking, especially using fresh seafood. While Bruce was studying in Japan, he worked at the largest local seafood fish market where he mastered the amazing Japanese art of filleting fish. “Iron Chef” Bruce’s other hobbies is going fishing or catching abalone on weekends. Any seafood caught by the Iron Chef is brought to his kitchen and meticulously cooked Japanese style for his friends.
